While watching Hacking Democracy on HBO, I saw an old commuter pal of mine - Kathleen Wynne, Associate Director of Black Box Voting. I recall our many conversations on the train prior to and following the 2000 Election, and then our dinner conversation in Bradley after 9/11. I'm sorry we didn't part on good terms that night, but I am VERY happy to see you working so hard as an activist for voting rights! I've been involved with the League of Women Voters both back in NJ and in my new home, South Carolina. It was really great to see you again, even if only on my tv. Sue |

Hi Sue, Well, I'm glad to touch base with you again, even if it is via the internet. I, too, remember our conversation in Bradley. Ironically, what I've learned since that conversation concerning your view that it would absolutely take a grass roots effort to change our political landscape, is also what's needed to change our elections landscape. I hope you will visit the BBV site often and check out its considerable resources that document comprehensively the kind of elections landscape we are dealing with now, and what we must do to in order to put election back into the hands of the people. After all, it's the only way to change the political landscape, right? Good to hear from you. Kathleen |
