"Man Of The Year" starts next week, with electronic voting as a major plot point.

:-)

They made up a voting machine vendor called "Dietronic" or something :D.

Quoting from the review:

"Man of the Year" doesn't make protagonist Tom Dobbs a mental case — it's ultimately too feel-good about the rallying effect of a court jester hero to have real bite — but it wants its political downer bona fides, hence a subplot about a sinister Diebold-like corporation with scarily buggy electronic voting machines. Ouch. And therein lies the paradox of enjoying political comedy: wanting to be entertained, wanting our views reinforced and sincerely hoping none of it comes true."

This should be interesting. I am anxious to see it -- if done well, a vehicle like this can help achieve critical mass towards swinging the pendulum back to citizen control, away from corporate & government secrecy.

WHAT TO DO WITH EVIDENCE:

"Never put it in a funnel."

Always PROPAGATE evidence to at least 5-7 different places:

- A reporter
- Black Box Voting
- Your local elections office (this will seed it into the public record)
- Your e-mail list
- Your local elections reform group
- The EIRS reporting system
- A blog
- Someplace unexpected

EVIDENCE = video, audio, photos, public records
(stories and anecdotes are not evidence)
