Hey You All, I need your help with understanding the voting system for LA County, (CA). I did a search, but I guess I am not the "Sharpest Tool in the Shed". :-) I know that they use the Inka Voting machine owned by ES&S now, but I'm sure you all can tell me more about their system. I am going to a meeting where this representative, with the Registrar of Voters office, will be presenting. I am trying to get question read to ask him. PLEASE HELP! I have until the 12th of September to get this info together. Thanks for giving me a place to go where I can ask for this kind of help. |

I understand you frustration with the search. If you search for "INKAVOTE" you'll have much better luck. The InkaVote system is essentially a replacement module for punch card systems that uses ink on paper instead of punching chad out of a pre-scored card. Should be a very cost effective upgrade if you already have the votomatic booths. |
