Makers of a breathalyzer refused to reveal their source code, resulting in the test results for a DUI case being thrown out of a Florida court!

From an article in the (on-line) Seattle Post-Intelligencer:

"It seems to us that one should not have privileges and freedom jeopardized by the results of a mystical machine that is immune from discovery," Florida's 5th District Court of Appeal ruled in Muldowny's case, which resulted in his charges being reduced to reckless driving.

Hel-lo! Can we send any legal challenges on the elections to Florida's 5th District Court? They rock!

That is a great legal precidence to challenge Diebold by upholding the argument: No source code reveiw, no legalality to the machine!!!
