Bev, after the next book comes out you should consider selling the rights to someone who's outstanding at writing/composing for musical theater.
This whole voting machine saga is so larger-than-life. It presents innumerable opportunities for humor, drama, wicked satire, rap, not to mention the chorus of the county officials responding (or not) to the PRRs.
There could be a touring version with certain set numbers using locally-relevant special lyrics, changing with the location. (Imagine the different versions for Ohio, Florida, King County, San Diego, Colorado, etc.)
Not to mention the Activists, the Academics, the Vendors, the Lobbyists, the wanna-be politicians, the Media (or maybe they'd be absent).
