NEW - depositions and trial transcripts with Jeffrey Dean's testimony. These provide details about how he got involved in elections, how Global Election Systems got involved with Diebold, some of the inner workings at Global Election Systems, especially with VoteRemote, some of the inner workings at King County, and (the older documents) testimony from Jeffrey Dean about his criminal activities. What you won't see here: A smoking gun like "I rigged the U.S Elections." What you will see here: Absolute proof that the perimeter defense was a shambles. Jeffrey Dean describes remote access into the California 2000 election systems, programmer Brian Clubb describes a scramble to make software work using the (uncertified) Diebold HSCC machine in a Sacramento County election; he was not able to get results out of the computers until days AFTER the election, just two hours before the final deadline. The documents describe Dean selling vaporware to Colorado, and go into detail about what the Deans say happened to the $3.4 million they made from Diebold. Witnesses testify that Jeffrey Dean designed the Diebold "Vote Remote" product, now widely used for mail-in and absentee balloting. As of the time of this upload, even Black Box Voting still has not reviewed hundreds of the pages. These are "hot off the scanner." Thanks to BBV investigator Kathleen Wynne for obtaining these transcripts. Feel free to identify and post your findings that are relevant to elections. We'll be adding documents all day. (Note: You'll want the 7.0 version of Adobe Acrobat or later for best results. Available for free download, just google it.) Beginning to upload documents now. There will be at least three dozen documents uploaded; some are lengthy. Grab some popcorn. The quality of these documents is extremely poor. Unfortunately, the quality of the microfiche was equally poor. Fortunately there is overlap between this and other documents that we'll post.: http://bbvdocs.org/dean/dean-debt-re crime.pdf (1,060 KB) Jeffrey Dean criminal documents, copies of checks he forged, copies of checks for stolen money written to his wife. LARGE FILE http://www.bbvdocs.org/dean/dean-criminal-docs.pdf (8,586 KB) more on the way... |

Maybe they all wrote parts of it. Or maybe one person was supposed to take the public credit for it. Did anyone try to reach Tae Kim yet? |

Or maybe Tae Kim and Brian Clubb wrote it and Jeffrey Dean "improved" it. |

It would be interesting to know who signed off on the final version. Somehow I doubt they had such a procedure. |

Also any test plans would be interesting to read. Test plans incorporate a lot of "ought" statements regarding the expected behavior of a system. Many times a system’s expected behavior is best documented in the test plans and test scripts used to decide the system was working "correctly". I know this implies a more rigorous approach to test than was likely present. But, even the lack of test documentation is interesting as it substantiates the claim this is an untested system. |

These would all be great things to ask for in discovery, if that is ever possible. |
