Probably just the unique 'signatures' of two different programmers; one doing the up-front and easy stuff, the other taking care of the details in the back. Look for a small group project effort, likely not more than three programmers and one manager total involved in the entire logic portion.

Many more people will have been involved working on the 'front end' or user interface portion, but this sort of project is usually done in sections, for ease of management. Somebody to do the up-front pretty-work, somebody else to make the back end logic come out the way its supposed to.

The common thread will be the project manager.
