(Letter from Gerry Hébert, Liberty Township, Porter County, Indiana to Kathy Kozuszck, Director)

In addition to built-in fraud possibilities, all electronic voting machines simply violate the voters right to watch and verify the vote count and totals for their choice of candidates or issues after polls close. The charge of possible vote fraud has been made since these electronic machines were first introduced into Polling places throughout the U.S.

Of course the companies that manufacture and supply these machines claim that they are now new and improved but most voters don't have the technical ability to challenge such claims.

However, more importantly, these electronic machines still violate the voter's right to be sure of an accurate vote count for their candidate or issue of choice because the voter has no way of physically confirming the vote count other than what the machine electronically spits out (unlike the physical counting of actual paper ballots open to anyone interested). The voter would have no way of knowing what the machine's control card is programed for.

The main justification for their use by many election officials seems to be the electronic voting machines provide a faster voting process and tally than physically counting individual paper ballots. But what's the point of having an election and the entire election process if verification of accuracy by human inspection and count is not there.

The American people have the right to witness the actual vote count, not take the tallies of an electronic machine kicking out figures, All across Europe today these hideous machines are being challenged and thrown out of the voting process. German Courts have said it is unconstitutional to conceal any aspect of the voting process from the public. Government has no right to conceal the evidence of its own legitimacy.

I urge you to forward my comments to your Board President J.J. Stankiewicz, Board Member Patrick Lyp and Board Attorney Clay Patton so each of you might find time to view the following videos on the credibility of all electronic voting machines. YouTube and Google search engines are loaded with such videos under "Electronic Voting Machine Fraud".

Do I think convincing our voting officials that the electronic voting machines should be thrown out and replaced with the traditional and far more accurate and accepted paper ballot (which, by the way is still authorized for use in Indiana) will happen soon? No, as there is likely to much money (corruption) being circulated by the suppliers of these machines to keep them in our voting booths.

I only hope to reach individuals like yourself who might believe that voters rights are sacred and should never be shredded for mere expedience sake. ... I am wishing all four of you will keep these remarks in mind before approving your pending three-year licensing agreements for electronic voting machines.

Maybe what Dan Rather needed was an electric shock on his rear end, to realize the chain of custody of 110VAC@60HZ, 1AMP is indeed a broken chain of custody which can not be seen with the human eye, other feeling the (heat), the resultant sparks (light) and smoke. While I am trying to be funny here, I am actually serious.

What other electronic devices are being exploited maliciously?

Microwave pain? Would like to test for giant 1white bubble burn on face? Or Blow ears drums out?

How about HFT on the markets?

How about running government websites on constantly broken sharepoint with no links, no search, and no docs, using the "plausible deniability failure framework?"

What else?

Fios splitters.

Cyberspace War?
GLOBAL Trusted ID (voluntary, then forced just watch...it'll be tied to money.)

4 Month Internet Kill Switch?

Who do I sue when my internet business fails?

While these ideas are forward thinking and hypothetical or proven.

The FACT is these chips which comprise these electronic vote tabulation devices no matter what model number or company, they are not watched from the doping process through manufacturing to the field where you vote. No public oversight. These devices are sometimes doped in more than one foreign country. (e.g. memory chip X from Y, logic chip X, from Z. The only way to test them for sure I know of is destructive reverse engineering under an electron microscope, however even that might not expose an exploit or destructive logic bomb. Not to forget here, that this IS NOT BEING DONE. If I can program something to when certain conditions are met the device is destroyed what does that tell you? What if I make half the device out of flammable material, and dope in a "cart start" (think aircraft) logic?

It tells me a failure maybe be part of a plan. A plan of corruption on a scale never seen in history.

Every machine would have to be destroyed to certify the logic.

When you count paper ballots, even if a NUKE destroyed a city, you'd still have the remaining paper ballots representative of the people's intent, but when you count ballots which are symbolically representing the count in electronic 1's and 0's which nobody can physically see, you have a broken chain of custody so bad one man could destroy it, and not even GOD can prove it.

Not to mention the horror a large bank of scr's or equivalent can do.

I don't know what homeland security is doing besides terrorizing free speech, but they sure the hell are not protecting the homeland. (sic)

Seems to me we already had a DHS. It's called taking an oath. I only wonder which foreign agents have been humping the pooch.
