Concerned about the Memphis election We sent 4-3-06 alert to shelby county eletion commission opertion manager Mr. Albert Holmes and we also made a presentation before Shelby County board of Commissioners. This was done 4-25-06 After which we went to the Shelby County election Commission office and requested those public records that may be probative. We are also seeking a meeting with the chairperson of theMemphis, City council soon.We are calling for a public hearing that will including,County Commissioners, City Council,Election Commissioner,Diebold Repersentive and a computer specialist to represent the citizens. They are using the Diebold Ts and will use the Tsx in the Nov. election. The $150,000 dollars that was ask for by the County Mayor A.C.Wharton and the Chairman of the election Mr.Greg Duckett was voted down.We are calling on BlackBox to focus on Memphis Tenn. as the place for the showdown for this most important matter. We have photos of the machines that are being used now.A investigation is now being conducted. It is our belief a fair, accurate and democratic election can not be held at this time in Memphis T.enn n |

I recall well the mayoral race "lost" a few years ago by Willingham under strange circumstances. At that time (2003) they were running a blended system of Diebold and some locally-brewed oddball machine. Do you know if they've gone to all-Diebold yet? We have more information on the TS/TSx series coming this week; we'll let you know the instant that's available. Meanwhile take a look at this document: http://www.bbvforums.org/cgi-bin/forums/board-auth.cgi?file=/2197/27598.html It's the first crack in the armor of the test labs. Without the test labs, Diebold comes unglued, they can't make their usual claims of "don't worry, these machines have been examined" if the examination process was obviously incompetent or fraudulent. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TRIPLE PROTECTION FOR ELECTION 2006 - STARTING NOW: (1) Use Freedom of Information, public records requests ("All American Paper Chase") (2) Try Dumpster Diving for Democracy (3) Candid America Project - Don't leave home without your camcorder HOW TO DO IT: http://www.bbvforums.org/forums/messages/6/6.html

David why don't you file an injuction in Federal Court demanding that the paper ballot be made available for the citizens because of problems with the Diebold machine which is well documented. |
