Here is the ITA report for the Diebold TSx touch-screen, the KeyCard Tool, and other items. Note that this report entirely omits examination of the Windows CE operating system embedded on the chip, which -- according to Wyle testimony in front of the California Senate Elections Committee on March 29, 2006, MUST be examined if it is altered from an "out of the box" version. There is no out of the box version of Windows CE, but even if there was, the Black Box Voting testing project in Emery County Utah in March 2006 proved that Diebold had significantly altered Windows CE, in such a way as to enable malicious penetration of the system. Given this information, the TSx should be sent back for retesting.

Thanks. I've been looking for this to come out, since John Washburn said he had obtained it. Going to have a bit of reading to do tonight! Already wondering about two things in just the five minutes I've had to scan through the docs!

Unfortunately, since these are "revision notes" rather than a full test suite, we don't have the "checklist portion" present in the optical scan Wyle document:

I *really* want to see the "COTS" portion of the checklist for the TSx, the security analysis and other details.

I am interested in how the division of labor was negotiated and by whom. Does the vendor say this is firmware and give it to Wyle? What if Wyle discoveres it is not firmware? Clearly in the case of VC programmer, Wyle does not say" "oops, mistake, here you go Ciber".
